Fatima-Joyce PACKERY

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Fatima has been a keen player in the mining industry for over 25 years. She has gained her expertise through industry giants in the mining sector. She has gained vast experience in her previous roles in the underground and opencast mining operations at BHP Billiton Energy Coal SA, Optimum Coal Holdings and DRA Global, in business development, corporate communication, investor relations, projects, environmental control and human resources. In her recent roles as business development manager, she provided support securing the future of the business through opportunity identification and development, integration and strategic input and built strong relationships with key stakeholders.
In many ways, Fatima-Joyce has been the poster girl for transformation in the mining industry. She was at the right place at the right time at various stages of her career, but her rise to prominence has been fueled by her hard work and big vision and this is where she co-founded the company PF Africa Mining (Pty) Ltd. She serves as a member of Women in Mining South Africa WiMSA, and served as board member at South African Women in Leadership SAWIL and non-executive director at SSC Group.

Phumlani NJILO

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Phumlani Njilo is the co-founder and Director of PF Africa Mining, 100% black owned mining company established with the aim to be an industry leader providing highly effective turn key solutions in the mining industry.

With experience spanning over 9 years in the mining industry. In 2016 he was part of the team that established Nicole EMP Chrome Mine. He has a degree in Business Management and entrepreneurship and a diploma in project management.

Phumlani Njilo exemplifies the principles of hard work, dedication and integrity. His story is one of perseverance, reliance, and a constant pursuit of excellence in all aspect of life.

Flip Steenkamp

Technical Director

Flip Steenkamp is a seasoned engineer with a proven track record as a technical and operational specialist in serving both the metallurgical and civil industries in Africa for more than 25 years.

He has directed various ad-hoc with partnering companies to provide a total solution in the development and construction of mineral beneficiation plants.He has a proven track record and a unique ability to work with all stakeholders in civil and building construction, steel construction, mineral beneficiation plants, design and engineering solutions.
